This is the first time I have made a comment to this wonderful site! And may I say it has been a pleasure to read and hear all the things I didn’t know about Jeff healey. He has been a man I have followed for many years, and have admired his musical talent and ability to be one of the greatest guitarist ever! I just hope that he, and Gary Moore, are working out a great number for: As the years go passing by. Because they both did a wonderful job of that song! But I have to say, I Jeff’s version was more to my taste. Wow, what are those two up to there creating! I wish we knew! Thank you all for this Jeff Healey web site! Chris Smith.

Thanks, it is an absolute a pleasure to know that Jeff liked and play this music. I hope he is playing his music in heavens and in the meantime he found my husband. 😀

Indeed Richard, both 'Among Friends' and 'Adventures In Jazzland' were re-issued in 2006 as part of a new deal with Stony Plain Records (a deal which saw the release of Jeff's 3rd jazz album - his first for Stony Plain - 'It's Tight Like That'.) The HealeyOphonic label only lasted through 'Adventures...' and Terra Hazelton's debut, 'Anybody's Baby'. It didn't take long for Jeff to decide that he was happier making music than dealing with the day-to-day business of a record label... We have both the original, out-of-print HealeyOphonic version and the 2006 Stony Plain re-issue (which has different packaging and artwork than the original) available for sale HERE in our on-line store. ~Rog
