As a friend of his from back in the very early 80’s,and as his repairman up to the time of his signing with Arista,and going on the road,I remember with great fondness,the jams we had at a friend of mines place,as well as his hosting jam sessions at Brankos on Bloor.

I remember when I customized his Cry-Baby Wha-Wha so it would not kill his sound through his Peavey Bandit,and he
told me it was just what he wanted.At the time I did not know that it would become famous for the song SEE THE LIGHT,
I am grateful to have been a small inspiration to him with the sound from that pedal.

I think of him quite often,and tell my customers about our times together.He is sorely missed by me,and all who knew him.

Remember reading an email that day that he had passed away and at first my mind didn’t want to believe it but then I knew it was real 🙁 .March 2nd 2008 will always be a day I’ll never forget.Never got to meet him personally but his smile and his warm fun loving personality will always be my memories of him,along with his awesome talent on the guitar…The guy could play that’s for sure.Still miss him very much today but he’ll never be forgotten.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of the Healey family and friends of Jeff’s…Hope 2018 brings you all lots of happiness and love.
