BUT……I saw Jeff playing in Buenos Aires……..He gave me a chance to see him and the band backstage since I was the guy sending him a cassette tape of an Argentinean band playing That’s What They Say and pretending to be the song makers and writers of that song
LOS GUARROS was the band that disappeared after Jeff band knew about it
Took the drummer in my car on a tour around the city
Jeff and bass player did not come
Just a little story
Always remember Jeff , the band and their music

I am 54 now, I have listened to his music as a teenager back in the 80’s…making out in cars, at beaches, having ***, it was on the radio alot, and we all loved him!

Today, it is on the internet, and I am so happy to hear his incredible music at this time in my life.
I truly listen to him daily on my laptop and my phone with Pandora.

He was taken too soon, but his music was left behind, and I am greatful for that..so many memories.

Lord, please find a way to let the world know how amazing, Jeff Healey was and he should be singing his songs as they enter Heaven…

It was my only American concert as a Canadian, though Jeff also was from Canada. It was just how it worked out, I lived near Point Roberts Washington where he appeared at The Breakers(?). I likely had seen videos of his before then, memory has dimmed for me.

The venue was inside a cozy tent. Was with a good friend and we had a fabulous evening. Still wild that it is so many years ago, simply hard to grasp – still feels like yesterday though. RIP Jeff and take very good care all, be safe and enjoy live to the fullest
